The pettiness of mods - removed the highest voted post of all time

Here's the highest rank post with 113 points, announcing the beginning of Kulture Media, a media tracker to hold Hollywood and other western media accountable for their racist and damaging portrayals of Asians (founded and funded by Arcterex117, who got banned for bogus reasons). Out of pettiness, the mods removed it. Notice, RedSunBlue, offer his "full support". I guess full support comes with strings attached...

The picture is a screenshot of the page as of December 3, 2015. Notice the [removed]. That means the content has been erased by the mods. These are the people who are "fostering community" for you. Can you respect and follow such cowardly leaders?

A Legend in his Own Mind - Mod RedSunBlue

First, a few things to know about RedSunBlue.  He is a self-described Master of Game.  He regularly drops into conversation that he 'did well' with the ladies in Japan almost two years ago.    Like Al Bundy bragging about a few touchdowns he scored years ago.  Has two blogs about it (here and here).

Thing to know is after RedSunBlue has banned members because they mention something that trips his various psychological triggers, he loves posting insincere 'thank-you's to the community.  RSB is saying to members "Fuck you, you're a fascist, a sell-out, and a white supplicant - but THANK YOU"  Very sincere as always.

RedSunBlue might describe himself this way: "I just want to remind people that I basically hooked up with a girl in Japan 2 years go.  Had to go abroad to get laid; a bit creepy but hey.  All porn since then.  But hey, I'm a mod on TRP for a reason.  These days, it's mostly chat and Reddit.  But mostly chat.  Like a true player.  Listen to me on my podcast; I'm the guy with the squeaky voice who's always getting talked over."

RedSunBlue prefers to hide in the background and make awful decisions regarding the quality of the sub, who should moderate it, etc.  There's a concept of servant leadership - where leaders put the interests of the group first and their ego second.  You can't have a high-functioning group, one of mutual respect where the leaders don't take that view.

There are better communities for Asians.  Don't trade BS by whites in real life for the BS of three ego-centric Asians.  The basis of leading a sub is respect for members.  Not ego gratification of the mods at the expense of the members.

AM Mods have actively removed members who productively contribute to the Asian cause.  This may be because these efforts make their power-tripping reddit moderation seem frivolous in comparison.  Certainly, they've tried to steer the community away from real activism meant to improve our situation in the West.  This is simply the way that small, petty people act.

Let's take a look at what some of these banned members who have been called shit-posting myopic fucks by the mods have actually done:

Funding and promoting Asian men and sponsoring Asian fighters with his own business when every Chan is marketing their shit with white faces = Amazon printed tshirts

Funding, writing, producing, directing pro-Am media who gets the girl = deadend viacom fluffer "career"

Spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to create Kulturemedia.org to hold hollywood accountable.  Twitter account followed by former Whitehouse senior members, chief editors of major publications.  This instead of grousing on the Internet for hours.  According to mods this is a "crypofascist" shit poster.

More explanation for the drama. dai-lo has been only a mod for a few months, yet in this last few weeks, vast majority of the members who have ever done anything substantial has been banned from the sub or heavily shut out from the sub.

He is the world greatest power tripper. This is his current policy.

• Anyone who he disagree with on opinion, immediately gets his comment removed.
• Anyone who voices any dissents against his actions gets banned.
• Even more ridiculous, anyone who simply fraternize and sympathize with the ones who are unfairly banned, faces comment removals and bans.

I am sure many of you have seen that many comments has been quietly removed in the past few weeks. They are actually not white trolls, but normal AM comments, except dai-lo disagrees with it. Maybe you have noticed several frequent user never showing up again. That's because they were banned arbitrarily.

The following is just a small snippet of all the people he has banned. But note that there were basically anyone who ever carried forth any projects beyond the sub.

• /u/arcterex117 [5] - created from scratch and funds Kulture media watchdog[6] for asian americans out of his own pocket. thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of his time while holding down a senior management job. Top scoring post[7] on r/am[8] of all times. Literally the biggest real life organization that came from the sub.
• /u/neonfuzion_ [9] - several hundred hours while going to school. Compiled wiki, admins slacks and owned other off-reddit AM inspired forums. He led the effort to compile and edit some of the most important posts, comments (i.e. many of /u/disciple888 [10] 's writings) for posterity. asianmasculinity.org[11] (Work in progress site)
• /u/countercom2 [12] - research and wrote multiple exposes and compiled media analysis on asians. Extensive research on all Asian vs western media, way before r/am[13] was ever created, hundreds of hours over years. Top kulture media writer/editor.

The final straw apparently is this when we tried to recruit more people into our slack by sending out a mass email to the mailing list (created entirely by /u/arcterex117 [14] might I add). Apparently this is an unacceptable threat to his power[15] .

We have never seen someone who is just the moderator of a sub of 6k people being such an ego-tripping douchebag, fighting petty power politics, in lieu of actually promoting and growing the community and seeing the bigger picture. How can you power trip when given such a tiny bit of power and there are so many other things for us to do? Mods on subs with millions of users don't even fire petty insults and abuse their power in this way.

We can only conclude that he feels threatened towards anyone who is even slightly more successful than him and done more than him, and recompensate with venomous words and personal insults.

Mods Power-Tripping- Dishonest Reasons for Removal

This is a post for people trying to understand the arbitrary bans the AM mods handed out. 

Counter ,Neonfuzion, Arcterex  have all been banned for , as they call it “Misrepresenting our slack chat as the official chat for the sub.” Then then go on to tell us ” This is a constructive mispresentation of your status and it is fundamentally disrespectful to your fellow users of the sub and mod team like” 

The reality is that the AI Chat slack (which is referred to here) existed first; it was joined by all the AM mods; it used the AM logo.  Unbeknownst to us, the AM mods created another chat slack but didn't tell us about it.  And when they received this e-mail that we sent out, they went apoplectic "How could you email people about a chat site that's not ours!".  This cause for removal is ridiculous.  Here is the G2 on this; showing our chat site was there first.

Well the fact is , our slack has existed since July, 14 , 2015. Yes, thats 5 months. Our slack has existed for 5 months now. And who was apart of it? Guess what- the AM mods , Redsunblue & Noname888 & Dai-lo!

Our slack has existed long before there’s has.  To consider it fraudulent to let other AM members know about it is silly and covers the real reason AM mods removed the three members from the sub.

Groups cannot function when leadership arbitrarily removes people based on personality conflict.

The pettiness of Mods - read their ban 'note' to DTM Universal

We keep talking about DTMuniversial here , but that’s because he really has done a lot.  Most of  his work available on yo tube, where he has promoted Asian Males as the male lead and focus in his films. In addition , if you remember the Make It Pop scandal , which as made it to sites such as  AsAm News  or even that of Kpop websites. He has been a loud , legitimate voice for As male issues. But whatever right ? That doesnt matter! Everyone needs to read properly! Or else you’ll get banned!

A Lost Child - AM Mod Dai-Lo

Have you ever served as part of a group where the person in charge was such a baby, it was hard to even respect the entire operation?  A petulant  manager?  A team leader who acted like he was still in grade school?  Well, that’s a good intro for AM mod Dai-lo.

Dai-lo lives ‘upstairs’ in the halls of power.  How he ascended there from his parent’s basement living the life of a keyboard jockey rebel is anyone’s guess.

Lazily, Dai-Lo uses a random insult generator.  Mods setting a high standard for conduct again.

A reminder that this comes directly from the mods who have to enforce their rules.

Don’t be an asshole.

Makes you wonder how you can enforce a rule you are constantly breaking yourself.  This is when people lose respect for mods; leaders don’t carve our exceptions for themselves.
